Orlando Vs Boston Game 4

Down three to zero it would be devastating if the
Magics would get swept after going to the NBA finals last year and sweeping two teams to get the eastern conference championship. Everyone was thinking that the Magics would give because of their play in the previous in the last three games but the we were proven wrong the Magics fought with the Celtics throughout the whole game making it a very close game and it came to one last possession with Paul Pierce having the ball however the Magics point Guard Jameer Nelson played great defense and forced the Celtics to not even get a shot up at the buzzer so the game went into overtime. Orlando pretty much control overtime and came out with a four point win 96-92. Orlando did everything better they passed the ball better, they also hustle to get those fifty fifty balls. The Magics leading scorer was Dwight Howard who had thirty two points and also led the team in rebounds with sixteen and the Magics finally started passing the ball with Jameer Nelson with nine assists. But for the Celtics team Paul pierce lead the way with thirty two points also and Kevin Garnet had another double double with fourteen points and twelve rebounds leading the team. The Magics also held Raja Rondo to eight assists but the most important thing is that the Magics came out with the win. With a lot of momentum in game four overtime thriller I think the Magics will win game five and force a game six because since they knew weren't they were doing wrong in their game play they will come even stronger in their arena especially since they have their home crowd behind alive and running. So in conclusion I think that the Magic will storm their way back in this series win the next game in Orlando.

Lakers vs Suns Game 5

With a lot of momentum from winning games three and four the Suns are looking forward to going up three to two in the series even though the Suns have momentum the Lakers have the statistics the Lakers have never lost in the Staples center when it comes to the 2010 NBA playoffs. The game went back and forth between the Suns and the Lakers and started to get very intense in the fourth quarter. Down ninety eight to one hundred one the Suns needed a three pointer to stay in the game, the ball came to Steve Nash and he miss the three pointer but the Suns retrieve an offensive rebound and kicked the ball back out to the three point area then Jason Richardson got the ball and hit a three point shot with a couple seconds left to go in the fourth when he hit the shot the Suns were all elated but they didn't know what was going to hit them on the other side of the court. After the timeout there was no surprise the ball was going to go to Kobe Byrant when Kobe shot the ball it was surprisingly an air ball but Ron Artest got the offensive rebound and put the shot back up with no seconds left to go in the fourth quarter to finish off the thriller in the Staple center. Even though Kobe missed the first potential game winner he still had thirty points leading the team and also lead the team in nine assists, lastly Lamar Odom lead the team in rebounds with thirteen coming off the bench. However Kobe Byrant didn't lead the game in assists it was Point guard of the Suns Steve Nash who had eleven which led his team and had a team high of twenty nine points and Channing Frye finishing off with ten rebounds to go along with fourteen points which was his first double double in the series.

Orlando Vs Boston Game 3

With the lost in game one and two the Magics are desperate for a win because throughout NBA  history when a team was down three to zero they never came back and lost the series. So basically the Magics season is on the line unless they can achieve an miracle. Soon as the game started it was a blow out at one point of the game the score was eleven to twenty five in the first quarter. Again Orlando showed no hustle not going for loose balls that were about to go out of bounds or just balls that no one had control of, in the image you can see a perfect example of what I'm talking about you can see Marques Daniels showing more hustle than Vince Carter by getting to the ball first and also the Magics did not pass the ball well either for the third straight with their highest assists leader only having two assists which were JJ Redeck and Vince Carter but the person that lead the game in assists was no other but the leader of the Celtics their all star point guard Raja Rondo who had twelve assists. Eventually the Magics lost by twenty three points only scoring seventy one points to the Celtics ninety four points which was the Magics fourth lowest scoring game in the playoffs. However the leader for the Magics was Vince Carter who had fifteen points but the leader in the game was Big Baby Glen Davis coming off the bench with seventeen points, Paul Pierce and Dwight Howard lead the game with nine rebounds each. So in conclusion I think its over for the Magics because once again the stats don't lie and no one ever came back from a three to zero deficit so I'm going to have to go with the Celtics.

Lakers vs Suns Game 4

With the win in Game three the Suns are looking forward to tying the series up two games a piece especially after Amar'e Stoudemire's sensational double double forty two points and eleven rebounds so the Suns are trying to commit a repeat of game three in Arizona.  The game started out going back to back with the Lakers taking the lead and then the Suns will take the lead so throughout the whole game it was close. However the game started to get pretty intense when the Suns bench started heating up in the fourth quarter when Channing Fry, Lenardo Barbosa, and Jared Dudley hit back to back to back threes to put them up by nine points forcing the Lakers to call a timeout. As you can see in the image Jared Dudley is celebrating with his team mate after hitting the three pointer and in the end the Suns won by nine points 115-106. Even though the Lakers lost Kobe Byrant lead the way again with another double double leading the team in points with thirty eight and leading the team in assists with ten. Also for the first time in this series someone has ended the game with more assists then Steve Nash, even though Steve Nash didn't have the most assists in the game he still had eight of them and came out with the most important thing of the game which is a win. Amar'e Stoudemire didn't have another double double but he had twenty one points leading his team and he also had eight rebounds which lead his team too. However the leader in the game in rebounds was Lamar Odom coming from the bench grabbing ten rebounds. In conclusion the Suns have to go back to the Staples center and try to take game five and go up in the series three to two, but that won't be an easy task because so far in the 2010 playoffs no one has yet to the beat the Lakers in Staples center. So my predictions for game five is that the Lakers will win because the stats never lie.

Lakers vs Suns Game 3

In game three the Suns are now on their home court which gives them a great advantage to win the game because Phoenix  plays great at home and feeds off of their very enthusiastic energy. In my previous blog about the Suns I said that the Suns need to be more efficient when it comes to getting their rebounds and they did that exact thing. Amar'e Stoudemire who was struggling to get rebounds against the Lakers went off for forty two points which led both the Lakers and the Suns in points and is also his career high, not only did he have forty two points he had eleven rebounds to go with , having his first double double in the series against the Lakers. In game three the Suns out rebounded the Lakers as you can see in the image that the Suns are boxing out really well making it hard for any body on the Lakers to retrieve a rebound. In the end the Suns won the game by nine points 109-118 even though the Suns were being physical boxing out in the paint the Lakers leader in rebounds Paul Gasol still was able to maintain to get nine rebounds and Kobe Byrant received his second straight double double in the series recording a team high thirty six points and another team high eleven assists but he didn't lead the game it assists it was no other than veteran point guard of the Suns Steve Nash. In my opinion the Suns did a great job of being physical in the paint and feeding off of their crowd's energy, so in conclusion for the next game I pick the Suns to win again and tie up the Series because when their home they play so much better and they also fight harder so my predictions is that the series is going to be tied up two a piece.

Orlando Vs Boston Game 2

With the upset in Orlando the Celtics look to go up two games against the Orlando Magics and be a step closer to get back to the NBA Finals. The 2009 eastern conference championships the Orlando Magics kept the game close and showed that they didn't want to suffer a 2-0 deficit against the Celtics in the series. With Dwight Howard being the game's leader with thirty points the Magics had a great opportunity to win the game and tie the series one to one. The game was close through out all for quarters, when the fourth quarter came the celtics and the Magics were going back and forth taking the lead. However in the end the the Boston Celtics came out with another upset beating the Magics by three points 95-92 with 2008 Finals MVP leading the way with twenty eight points. Surprisingly Dwight Howard didn't lead the game in rebounds it was Kevin Garnett who had nine rebounds and Dwight Howard had only eight rebounds which is below his regular season and post season average. The game's leader in assists was the very much improved point guard of the Celtics Raja Rondo who had eight assists and the the Magic's assist leader was was Rashard Lewis who had only four assists. In my opinion the Magics need to pass the ball more because in the last two games their highest leader in passing had below five assists and they lose both games. They need to stop worrying about shooting so many three point shots and start driving to the hole and getting dirty in the paint area. My opinion is that when they see a defensive presence like Kevin Garnett in the paint they tend to shoot instead of driving and maybe getting fouled receiving to easy foul shots. So in conclusion the Magics need to win game three or else its pretty much the end because no one ever came back from a three zero deficit in NBA history.
